Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), in collaboration with The Kozolchyk National Law Center (Natlaw), is organising a series of Secured Transactions capacity building programme for various stakeholders.  Recognising the need to facilitate access to credit for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), Brunei Darussalam modernised its Secured Transactions Law in 2016 with the goal of assisting financial institutions expand their financial products and services for SMEs.

This workshop will primarily focus on how SMEs can benefit from the different financial products enabled by the Secured Transactions Law.  You will learn the concepts of Factoring and Supply-Chain Finance that have been identified as two of the most viable financing alternatives for SMEs at this stage.
